What in the World is That?
An excellent question! I wasn't quite sure myself, so I asked my glassy fans, and the votes have come in strongly in favor of calling each of these little oddities a WITWIT. That's an acronym for What-In-The-World-Is-That. And if you somehow end up with more than one, it has been decided that collectively they are a WITWAT (What-In-The-World-Are-Those)...not WITWITs. One must properly pluralize in polite society, mustn't one?

These little guys are what happened when I had a slew of time, to let my imagination run free. I had such a good time making them, seeing what comes out of a somewhat free-form selection of colors, and shapes, and you know...just letting stuff happen. A bit of a droop there, another eyeball here, hey, let's add a fifth foot...it's all good!

This listing is for this/these particular WITWIT (WITWAT) marker/sculpture (s), and he/she/it/they are ready to be flown in a padded envelope directly to your house. Each WITWIT is unique as I don't have a pattern, mold, or anything like that...and you can see that each one has its own little personality!

The idea is that these mark your pawn's place while you're playing board games (classic games like Monopoly--much cooler than the wheelbarrow or the boot) or for any of the many modern board games that are exploding in popularity. 

Who wouldn't prefer playing with lovely, beautifully-made player markers? They really add to the enjoyment of the game, and are a very cool gift for any avid gamer. 

But you don't have to be a board gamer to enjoy a WITWIT! They make excellent mascots, studio friends (very good at keeping an eye on all the balls we're keeping in the air), a keyboard buddy at work (all work and no play is no fun!), etc.

These markers are hand made in the flame by me, Jenefer Ham, from glass, and each has been properly annealed in a kiln for a lifetime's enjoyment. They have a flat bottom and are very stable. They come with a lovely little pouch for transport/storage.

It occurred to me that I need to mention that my sculptural designs (dragons, dinos, and other animals) need to be handled with a little bit of extra care due to having pokey outey bits (that's the technical term) which are delicate. And you probably don't want to let small children play with them...the colors are yummy, but not very digestible.
